Do I pay anything to fill the form?
No. Filling the form is free. We call you first, and you pay a small advance only after the details are confirmed.
Which documents do I need?
An ID proof (Aadhaar or PAN) of the owner and of the tenant. You can send them to us on WhatsApp after we call.
How is the stamp duty worked out?
For a home: 0.5% of (11 months’ rent + deposit), at most ₹500 — Karnataka Stamp Act, Article 30(1)(i). For a shop or office there is no upper limit — Article 30(1)(ii). Try the calculator →
Can I change the draft?
Yes. We send you the draft first. Ask for any change and we fix it before printing on e-stamp paper.
Why 11 months?
Rental agreements in Karnataka are usually made for 11 months, so the lower stamp duty for leases of up to 1 year applies. You can renew after that.
How do I get the final agreement?
Collect it from our J. P. Nagar office, get it at your door (free within 2 km), or by Porter or Rapido anywhere in Bengaluru.
